‘As a parent, the last four years have provided teachable moments that I thought we had already learned. As a black person, I realize that time does not equate to progress. May today start the healing process for our nation. May all of those who have lost parents, friends, and hope due to the pandemic and inept leadership feel renewed,’ she began her post.

‘May all black women realize that “yes we can” and “yes we did” change the path of America by being steadfast and unwavering in our political conviction. Despite all of the less than exemplary behavior, we have witnessed today history will be made by @kamalaharris the first woman and African American Vice President. May this new regime redefine who the “very fine people” of America are and affirm that all people are created equally. God bless America 🙏🏾’ Phaedra captioned her post.
